DPM concludes its tour to Brussels following important bilateral and strategic engagements.

Following a successful series of high-level engagements, including as the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum and the Pakistan–EU Strategic Dialogue, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar wrapped up a multi-day visit to Brussels on Saturday before leaving for Pakistan, according to the Foreign Office.
The statement claims that throughout the sessions, Dar had in-depth conversations about global sustainability efforts, maritime security, economic ties, and peace and security.
On the sidelines, he also met with a number of international leaders and peers to discuss ways to improve cooperation across several industries and strengthen strategic partnerships.
The Deputy Prime Minister stopped briefly in Medina on his way back, the Foreign Office stated.
Dar emphasized the strength of the bilateral connection in a casual conversation with Eri Arfiya, Japan’s vice minister for foreign affairs.
According to the statement, he emphasized the long-standing Pakistan-Japan ties and Islamabad’s dedication to growing collaboration in a variety of fields.
On the fringes of the forum, Dar also had a meeting with Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Brunei Darussalam’s second minister of foreign affairs.
Both parties concurred on the necessity of strengthening cooperation in “trade, tourism, connectivity, IT, and education,” and the deputy prime minister “reaffirmed the importance of Pakistan’s bilateral relationship with Brunei Darussalam,” according to the Foreign Office.
