Due to bad weather, PIA cancels 8 flights and delays 35 in Karachi.

In accordance with the flight schedule, PIA has canceled flights PK 301 and 368 from Karachi to Islamabad and 455 and 456 from Karachi to Skardu.

Furthermore, Gilgit PK 601, 602, 605, and 606 flights from Islamabad have also been canceled.

Meteorological conditions also cause delays in airplane departures from Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore.

It has been suggested that, in order to avoid annoyance, travelers check the time of their planned flights before visiting airports.

The recent arrival of a fresh monsoon system that is moving into Sindh from Gujrat in India has resulted in light to moderate rainfall in Karachi.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday, Karachi is expected to have significant rainfall today as part of a new monsoon system.

Details indicate that Karachi is now about 290 kilometers away from the heavy monsoon system. The MET office predicted that there will be a lot of rain between 2 and 8 p.m. today.

The port city may see urban floods, according to PMD Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz.

In addition to scattered heavy to isolated very heavy falls, wind thunderstorms were also anticipated, according to the PMD head.
