Due to security concerns, Hangu has implemented Section 144 for the duration of Ramadan.

In light of ongoing law and order issues, the district administration in Hangu has legally imposed Section 144 throughout the region and released a comprehensive statement detailing a number of limitations for the holy month of Ramadan.
The official declaration states that Section 144 will continue to be in effect during the whole month of Ramadan.
To avoid any unfortunate situations, authorities have banned the use of loudspeakers, motorcycle double riding, and the public exhibition of weapons.
The letter further notes that, as a precaution, the open sale of gasoline and chemicals has been outlawed. Additionally, the regulations have prohibited wall chalking and gatherings of more than five people in any public area.
During a joint FC and police operation in Hangu, two criminals were taken into custody.
As part of larger security measures meant to maintain peace and stability, officials have also limited the number of Afghan refugees who can enter Hangu during this time.
The decision to enforce Section 144 was made in order to bolster security and preserve a tranquil atmosphere throughout Ramadan, according to the Deputy Commissioner of Hangu, who also warned that anyone found to be in violation of the directives would face severe consequences.
