During Exercise Golden Eagle, the Pakistan Air Force displays its complete combat capability (VIDEO).

In the Southern Air Command’s sphere of influence, the Pakistan Air Force successfully completed Exercise Golden Eagle, demonstrating its operational agility and battle readiness.
In accordance with changing regional security dynamics, the exercise concentrated on the coordinated deployment of PAF’s complete combat capacity under a Two-Force construct, highlighting AI-enabled, net-centric operations while utilising indigenous niche, disruptive, and smart technologies.
Integration of technology
Friendly troops moulded the battlespace by seamlessly combining kinetic operations with cyber, space, and Electro-Magnetic Spectrum Operations, all while operating under a strong Integrated Air Defence System. The First-Shoot, First-Kill swing-role combat aircraft, equipped with precision strike capabilities, long-range BVR air-to-air missiles, and extended-range stand-off armaments, were part of the kinetic phase. Airborne Early Warning & Control platforms and Air-to-Air Refuellers provided backup for these, guaranteeing a continuous operating reach.
Unmanned-managed collaboration
Manned-Unmanned Teaming was a significant feature, utilising loitering munitions and deep-reach killer drones to operate in highly contested and crowded areas. This phase demonstrated the PAF’s capability for contemporary, multidomain warfare by putting its ability to conduct fast-paced operations in deteriorating conditions to the test.
The Next-Generation All-Domain Command & Control Center, Air Headquarters, Islamabad, provided unified command for the exercise.
