Explosion at CTD police station in Peshawar results in one fatality and two injuries.

“Initial reports indicate that explosives detonated due to a short circuit in Malkhana,” stated SSP Operations Masood Bangash.

The explosion also compromised a section of the police station structure. Additional inquiry into the explosion has been ongoing.

CCPO Peshawar Mian Saeed stated that following the incident, four suspects at the police station have been sent to a different location.

The police official stated, “There was no evidence of any assault on the police station.”
