Expressing sorrow at Khamenei’s murder, Azma Bokhari

Azma Bokhari, the Punjab Information Minister, has called on the public to exercise patience and expressed profound sadness over the reported assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Bokhari described the recent attacks on Iran and Ayatollah Khamenei’s sacrifice as “extremely tragic” in a statement released from Lahore, adding that Pakistan expresses deep sorrow over the event.

According to her, Pakistan has openly denounced the attack on Iran at the UN and offered the country moral and diplomatic support.

The provincial minister urged Pakistani citizens and religious organizations to exercise patience and refrain from enforcing the law on their own. She cautioned that inciting disruption or making protests violent would only further adversarial goals.

Bokhari emphasized that controlling emotions, ensuring peaceful protests, and averting any harm or instability inside the nation are all our shared responsibilities.
She went on to say that Pakistan’s greatest assets at this crucial juncture are stability and national unity.
