Fawad Chaudhry decries prohibition on Sohail Afridi’s meeting with Imran Khan

On Friday, former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry said it was unfortunate that KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was denied the opportunity to meet with PTI founder Imran Khan when he was incarcerated.
Chaudhry told reporters in Lahore that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister was once again refused access to the PTI founder’s prison. When Sohail Afridi showed up outside the jail for the fourth time, he was still denied the opportunity to meet Khan, which he called a degrading move.
He said that Sohail Afridi could be crucial to Imran Khan’s release, while the current PTI leadership has shown itself to be immature.
The former minister added that in order to provide constructive counsel and interact with people who can ease political tensions, Sohail Afridi ought to contact Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other PTI officials in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Regarding the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) ban, Chaudhry stated that it is the proper move to ban the group because it is violent.
