Fazlur Rehman and Kundi talk about the political and security climate in KP.

The head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and prominent politician Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at his home on Friday.

Both leaders engaged in in-depth discussions about the province’s current political environment and state of law and order throughout the meeting.

They talked on the political situation in the wake of the province chief minister’s departure, the difficulties facing peace and stability, and the ongoing security operations in several regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Along with the changing political alliances and their potential effects on the province, the conversation also touched on the impending Senate elections and by-elections in Haripur and Chitral. Maulana Asjad Mahmood and Maulana Lutfur Rehman, the JUI-F legislative leader in the KP Assembly, were also in attendance.
