Fifteen-point agenda for today’s National Assembly session released

The National Assembly will reconvene today (Thursday) in the Parliament House at 11:00 AM. The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, will preside over the session.

The National Assembly Secretariat has released a 15-point agenda for the session today. The agenda comprises question hour, calling attention notices, and the introduction of bills.

According to the schedule, seven new laws will be presented in today’s session, including The National Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026.

During today’s session, the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Electronic Transactions (Amendment) Bill, 2026, which further amends the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002, will be introduced.

A bill to alter the Abandoned Properties (Management) Act, 1975 [The Abandoned Properties (Management) (Amendment) Bill, 2026], The Pakistan Study Centers (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and The National Archives (Amendment) Bill, 2026, will also be introduced.

Additionally, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Finance and Revenue, would present the Bill to alter the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 [The Income Tax (Third Amendment) Bill, 2025], for immediate consideration and passage.
