Following the fall of the dirt in the Khanewal well accident, two laborers were killed.

Officials said on Thursday that two laborers were killed after soil collapsed on them as they were working inside a well in the Khanewal neighborhood of Gul Abad.

Due to the well’s poor and damaged state, which abruptly deteriorated as loose soil dropped inside, the sad tragedy occurred. As emergency personnel raced to the scene, it became a race against time.

Officials from Rescue 1122 conducted an operation for a few hours before removing both workers’ remains from the well. The laborers were not saved despite efforts.

In order to comply with legal requirements, rescue personnel promptly moved the dead to a neighboring hospital. It is anticipated that authorities would look into the occurrence to assign blame and stop such mishaps in the future.
