For displaced residents in Tirah Valley, Khyber District, the KP government has approved Rs4 billion.

A financial aid package for displaced and impacted households from Tirah Valley and Khyber District affected by ongoing security operations in the region has been issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration.

Official sources claim that the province administration has approved a Rs4 billion relief package to meet humanitarian needs and hasten the affected population’s rehabilitation.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority’s (PDMA) report has been formally accepted by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department, which has notified the Secretary of Relief. Clear instructions for the open use of funds are included in the communication.
The Deputy Commissioner of the Khyber district and the Accountant General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have also received instructions to provide stringent financial control and accountability. With an emphasis on prompt assistance distribution, authorities have been instructed to accelerate the rehabilitation and relocation process for families displaced from Tirah Valley.

According to sources, a comparable request for funding to support Tirah affected parties was turned down in November 2025. The province government’s increased dedication to resolving the difficulties experienced by displaced families and reestablishing normalcy in the area is reflected in the present permission, nevertheless.

As part of larger initiatives to promote long-term stability and recovery in the impacted areas, the relief monies are anticipated to include basic rehabilitation measures, food aid, and shelter.
