For Imran’s presence in the GHQ attack case, ATC directs the superintendent of Adiala Jail to create a video link.

The superintendent of Adiala Jail was instructed by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday to create a video link for the attendance of former premier Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated, in the GHQ attack case.

ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah heard the matter, however the trial was also postponed today. Sheikh Rasheed and Seemabia Tahir were among the accused who departed the court after marking their attendance because the video link was inoperable.

The defense attorneys requested an urgent meeting with Khan during the hearing.

According to advocate Faisal Malik, Khan’s consultation is crucial to the case.

The court was notified by the investigating officer that the prosecution’s witnesses were present at the cricket stadium. After calling the witnesses, the judge postponed the hearing to December 3.

The court further directed the superintendent of Adiala Jail to make sure that video link arrangements are made for Imran Khan’s attendance and indicated that the next hearing will be held via WhatsApp video chat.
