For the country to have political stability, everyone must sit together: Shahid Khaqan

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the leader of the Awam Pakistan Party and a former prime minister, stated on Wednesday that the nation’s political stability depends on everyone working together.

Speaking at the National Dialogue of the National Dialogue Committee, he stated that the country cannot advance if there is anarchy.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi voiced worry that the nation is not operating effectively and that a solution needs to be found. Only when all parties involved get together will a solution be found.

“This is not an issue of Imran Khan’s release, but of the country’s release,” stated Shahid Khaqan. Imran Khan’s problem would be resolved as well if the nation is in a healthy state.

Politicians, the courts, and the establishment will need to work together, the former prime minister said, adding that the country is controlled by an elite and that this is not how nations operate.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi added that the economy will expand and the PTI founder will be treated fairly if the nation’s problems are resolved. The only way forward, he continued, is to sit down together, fix the problems, and move on.
