Global community and neighboring countries recognize Pakistan’s principled position on combating terrorism: Talal Chaudhry

On Saturday, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry stated that Pakistan’s principled position has been acknowledged by both the world community and its neighboring countries.
Chaudhry announced that, for the first time, Pakistan and Afghanistan have formally consented in writing to establish a structured framework. He stated that a comprehensive structure for this mechanism will be completed on November 6.
The minister stated that it is a triumph for Pakistan that matters have now been officially recorded, as both the international community and neighboring nations have acknowledged Pakistan’s principled stance.
He additionally stated that Afghanistan has consistently functioned as a proxy for India, noting the existence of proof regarding terrorist organizations operating within Afghanistan. Following the initial truce, he observed that the proscribed TTP released a statement designating Kabul as its adversary as well.
Chaudhry stated that if one’s hands are untainted, there should be no reluctance in documenting everything in writing. He underscored that this time, the agreement was formalized in writing and in the presence of two mediators.
