Grand combing operations are launched throughout the capital by ICT Police.

In order to improve security and keep an eye on suspicious activity, Islamabad Police conducted extensive combing and search operations around the city.

Officials claim that the activities took place in the areas under the control of the police stations in Khanna, Shahzad Town, Noon, Sangjani, and Koral. 288 houses and 599 people were inspected during the raid.

In addition, police investigated 81 cars and 219 motorcycles, as well as 73 stores and three hotels.

27 suspicious people, including one Afghan national, were detained for additional investigation as a result of the activities. Fourteen motorcycles were also confiscated and taken to police stations for additional examination.

According to authorities, patrolling units and special squads are actively performing surveillance around the capital, and special checkpoints have been set up at the city’s entry and exit points.

Senior police officers were also on the scene to supervise the security plans and guarantee that the operations were carried out successfully.
