Heavy fog across the country affects flights and closes roads.

Flight operations at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport were largely hampered by thick fog. The City experienced hazy weather, which caused several international flights to be delayed.
The fog caused a three-hour delay for a PIA flight headed for Madinah. Fog blanketed Lahore and numerous regions of Punjab, forcing the cancellation of a flight to Abu Dhabi.
Roads in many of the nation’s cities were covered in fog, forcing the relevant authorities to close motorways in a number of places.
Vehicles were not allowed to enter the M2 Motorway from Lahore to Kot Momin, the M3 from Faizpur to Darkhana, or the M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Multan due to the poor visibility.
Vehicles are also prohibited from entering M11 Lahore to Sambrial and M5 Multan to Rohri. The national highways in Lahore, Manga Mandi, Pattoki, Okara, Sahiwal, and Ahmedpur Sharqia are also affected by fog.
In Mian Channu, Khanewal, Multan, Basti Maluk, Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Sadiqabad, the dense fog also impeded traffic flow.
It is safer to travel during the day, according to a Motorway Police representative, who has recommended individuals to avoid needless travel.
