Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali have been placed under a 14-day court remand.

An anti-terrorism court in the federal capital ordered the judicial remand of barrister Imaan Mazari and her husband, Hadi Ali Chatha, on Saturday, in connection with an incident outside the Islamabad High Court.

ATC Judge Abulhasnat Zulqarnain presided over the case and sanctioned a 14-day judicial remand.

The verdict was rendered following the court’s examination of the case, when Mazari and Ali confronted allegations related to their confrontation outside the courthouse.

On the previous day, Imaan Mazari, the daughter of former PTI leader Shireen Mazari, and her spouse Hadi Ali Chatha were apprehended by the Islamabad police.

They were en route from the Islamabad High Court to the District Court when they were halted near Serena Chowk and apprehended. A significant contingent of attorneys was accompanying them at that time.
