Imran Khan health update: Naqvi blames political ploys, as the government denies accusations of vision loss

Imran Khan accused the opposition of politicizing his eye issue and distributing false information.
During a news conference in Lahore, Naqvi stated that articles asserting that the PTI founder had lost one eye entirely or 85 percent of his vision were propaganda. He insisted that both government and private professionals performed medical examinations and that nominated physicians and opposition representatives get thorough briefings.
According to him, the administration maintained constant communication with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leadership and had stated unequivocally that all prisoners would receive care that complied with the law and the Constitution.

Naqvi claims that during the jail checkup at Adiala Jail, doctors stayed on the scene for more than an hour and that Imran Khan was evaluated by an eye specialist in the afternoon. He claimed that after choosing prominent public and private physicians, authorities set up in-depth briefings for opposition leaders at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
According to Naqvi, the PTI-nominated doctors were consulted over the phone for around forty-five minutes apiece, and he deemed the treatment suitable. Following the briefings, he said, a number of opposition leaders expressed satisfaction and promised to share this with their supporters.
