Four police officers, including three traffic wardens, were killed on Sunday in separate shooting incidents in Lakki Marwat and Bannu by unidentified attackers.
Details indicate that the first incident happened in Lakki Marwat, where unidentified attackers opened fire on traffic police officers who were carrying out their regular duties. Constable Azizullah, Constable Abdullah, and Incharge Traffic Police Naurang Jalal Khan were the authorities who perished. After being taken to Naurang Hospital with severe injuries, all three passed away from their wounds.
A sizable police presence arrived on the scene after the event, roped off the area, and began a hunt for the perpetrators. Law enforcement organizations are looking into potential motivations for the targeted assault.
In a different incident in Bannu, Rasheed Khan, a police constable, was shot and killed by unknown motorcyclists in the Kafshi Khel area of the Mandan Police Station. After the incident, the attackers were able to escape the area.
