In North Waziristan, Section 144 was implemented, and all entry and departure points were sealed.

Local officials reported on Sunday that all entry and departure routes in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been blocked due to the imposition of Section 144.

Section 144 will be in effect throughout the district from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm, per an official notification. Public transportation will be restricted during this time, and all internal and external roadways have been sealed to guarantee that the order is strictly enforced.

According to the notification, the action has been made to make it easier for security personnel to move around and logistical supplies to be transported. The interim limitations, according to officials, are meant to preserve peace and order and guarantee that security operations can continue uninterrupted.

Cooperation with authorities and avoiding needless travel during the restricted hours have been encouraged for the residents. At strategic locations, security guards have been stationed to uphold the directive and keep an eye on compliance.

Officials from the local administration stressed that the limitations are merely precautionary and will be removed after the allotted time has passed. They also stated that in order to minimize public discomfort, vital services will be administered in collaboration with pertinent departments.
