In Pakistan, the price of LPG hits a record Rs. 500 per kilogram.

In Pakistan, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has risen to an all-time high of Rs500 per kilogram.

Customers believe they are being charged up to Rs200 more than the publicly announced amount, adding to their financial hardship in the face of rising inflation, according to a private TV broadcast.

The LPG Distributors Association Chairman, Abdul Hadi Khan, voiced grave concerns about the state of affairs. He claimed that the primary causes of the exorbitant pricing are the market’s supply constraints and distributors’ high acquisition expenses.

He went on to say that overpricing is getting worse nationwide since the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and pertinent importers have not been able to curb it.
