In Sindh, you may now purchase the car registration number of your choice for up to Rs 2 million.

The cost of acquiring a preferred vehicle registration number has been set by the Sindh government at up to Rs2 million.

Vehicle owners who want to obtain unique or registration numbers of their choosing can do so by paying the authorized price, up to a maximum of Rs2 million, according to an official statement from the provincial Excise and Taxation Department.

The notification said that people who want registration numbers 786 and 110 must pay Rs. 20 lacs. Three-digit numbers ranging from 111 to 999 have a one million rupee cost.

In a similar vein, owners who apply for numbers between 100 and 900 would be taxed Rs500,000, as will plates with digits 001 to 009.

There will be a Rs300,000 cost for any other option registration numbers.
