In the Ducky Bhai bribery case, the LHC releases a former NCCIA official on bond.

The former additional director of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), who was charged with abusing his power and accepting bribes in relation to the detention of YouTuber Ducky Bhai, has been granted bail by the Lahore High Court.

Details state that former NCCIA Additional Director Chaudhry Sarfraz submitted a bail petition at the Lahore High Court, which was heard by Justice Abher Gul Khan.

The judge granted the bail and ordered Chaudhry Sarfraz’s release after hearing the arguments.

The defense attorney told the judge at the hearing that bail had previously been granted for the other suspects in the case.

The case concerns the arrest of popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai, following which accusations surfaced that officials had accepted bribes and abused their power.

After the accusations, the former NCCIA additional director and a number of other people were suspended, a case was filed against them, and they were later arrested.
