In the midst of the crisis, Prime Minister Shehbaz has pledged to provide help to economically needy individuals.

It was claimed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that economically underprivileged elements of society will not be left alone during this difficult period of time.

The impact of the Gulf crisis on petroleum products, existing domestic fuel reserves, and ongoing public relief efforts were discussed at a significant meeting that he presided over on behalf of that organization.

In addition to providing extensive information on existing reserves, the conference also included briefings on future action plans, actions taken by the government to save fuel, and future action plans. A report on the progress of the Prime Minister’s austerity campaign and savings initiatives was also delivered by the Intelligence Bureau under the form of an audit report.

During this challenging period, Shehbaz Sharif has pledged that no economically vulnerable individual will be left without support. He stated that the government is working hard to provide additional relief to individuals with low and middle incomes.

He brought attention to the fact that the administration has already taken important actions, such as lowering official expenditures, reducing the budget for development, and immediately halting sixty percent of government vehicles. He also mentioned that efforts have been made to initiate sacrifices by reducing public spending.

A number of initiatives to raise the price of fuel have been repeatedly rejected, according to the Prime Minister, and the savings that have been created are being used for public relief. In order to guarantee both transparency and efficiency, relief measures are being distributed to the general public using digital applications.

Additionally, he stressed that in spite of the global crisis, Pakistan is continuing to make vigorous diplomatic efforts to maintain peace in the region, and that prompt choices have guaranteed that petroleum supply has been uninterrupted.

A further topic that was discussed during the briefing was the expediting of registration procedures for owners of motorcycles and rickshaws, which was done in conjunction with the governments of the provinces to guarantee that relief is effectively distributed to them.

Arrangements are being made for the future, and it was claimed that there are sufficient fuel reserves available to fulfill the requirements of the nation.

The cost of jet fuel has not altered, despite the fact that the tax on high-octane fuel has been raised. A sufficient amount of medicine is also available in the country, and the implementation of the austerity program that the Prime Minister has been advocating for is being ensured.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, federal ministers Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Dr. Musadiq Malik, Ahad Khan Cheema, Syed Mustafa Kamal, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ataullah Tarar, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Shiza Fatima Khawaja, Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Sardar Owais Khan Laghari, Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kiani, Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi, Talha Burki, National Assembly members Engineer Qamar-ul-Islam, Riaz-ul-Haq, Hafiz Muhammad Noman, and other senior officials.
