In the murder case of Farooqabad, the LHC reverses the death sentence.

After granting his appeal, the Lahore High Court (LHC) cleared a guy who had been given the death penalty for allegedly killing a citizen over a small disagreement.
The decision on the appeal was made public by a two-judge Lahore High Court bench made up of Justices Farooq Haider and Ali Zia Bajwa. Alfat was given a death sentence by the trial court in 2022, but the High Court overturned it four years later.
Advocate Chaudhry Wilayat Ali defended the accused at the hearing. The prosecution’s case had a number of shortcomings, according to Justice Farooq Haider.
The court observed that there was a two-hour delay in reporting the occurrence.
