Indian planes are prohibited from entering Pakistani airspace until February 24.

The prohibition on Indian aircraft using Pakistani airspace has been extended by Pakistan until Tuesday, February 24.
The country’s airspace would continue to be off-limits to aircraft registered in India, according to a representative for the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). The restriction will now be in effect until February 24 at 5:00 am.
All aircraft that Indian carriers own, operate, or rent are prohibited. Military flights are also covered.
Due to persistent bilateral tensions, Pakistan extended its airspace ban for aircraft registered in India by an additional month earlier in December. These limitations have been in place since April of last year.
Pakistan’s airspace will remain off-limits to Indian aircraft until January 23, 2026, according to a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the PAA with federal government permission.
