Initiation of proceedings to declare Sohail Afridi an absconder

Following the directives of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad, a procedure has commenced to designate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and other defendants as proclaimed offenders.

In accordance with court instructions, summons notices have been exhibited at multiple locations, and notices have been affixed in conspicuous areas within the Judicial Complex, Islamabad.

The summons have instructed Sohail Afridi, Meena Khan, Amjad Khan, Shafiullah Jan, and Amjad Afridi to appear in court. This action was executed pursuant to the directive given under Section 87 of the Anti-Terrorism Court.

The court has determined that the accused individuals are either failing to comply with court orders or are evading authorities, necessitating this action. Sohail Afridi, Shafiullah Jan, and other defendants have been summoned to appear in court without delay. The court has granted the accused a final chance to attend, and the notifications explicitly state that failure to appear during the proceedings under Section 87 will result in further legal action.
