“Inspired Gambit-2026”: A joint military drill between the US and Pakistan begins in Pabbi

Inspired Gambit-2026, the 13th bilateral exercise between the United States and Pakistan, got underway at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi.

Professional contingents from the US and Pakistani armies are participating in the two-week exercise, which is being carried out in the counterterrorism (CT) domain, according to a news statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from both sides.

Through the exchange of counterterrorism experiences, the exercise seeks to improve mutual understanding and interoperability while further honing the strategies, tactics, and protocols necessary for successful CT operations.

Urban warfare places a strong emphasis on marksmanship abilities as well as mutual comprehension of operational theories and best practices.

In order to handle changing security issues, raise professional military standards, and improve both forces’ ability to function in challenging counterterrorism contexts, such cooperative training exercises are crucial.

Inspired Gambit-2026 is a reflection of Pakistan’s and the US’s ongoing dedication to working together for peace and stability.
