International hospital with 100 beds will be established in Islamabad
A private company from Turkey will contribute Rs5 billion in funding for the hospital, while the National Police Foundation (NPF) has supplied the site for the facility.
The initiative, according to Naqvi, is not only a big step in enhancing health services in the region but also a huge breakthrough for the NPF, which has been rejuvenated under the leadership of Sabir Ahmed, MD NPF.
Minister Naqvi emphasised that the funds generated by this and other government-sponsored projects are being directed towards the well-being of police personnel and the families of those who have lost their lives.
He stated that the NPF and the Capital Development Authority will commence collaboration on shared projects, which are already in progress of being discussed.
According to Naqvi, the projects of the NPF extended beyond the boundaries of Islamabad. It has successfully finished a housing project in Hyderabad. Another statement he made was that the National Police Academy was undergoing a complete overhaul.
