Iran and Pakistan reiterate their determination to deepen their bilateral relations

On Tuesday, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, the minister of defense, received a visit from Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to a press statement, the meeting was held in a friendly and productive environment that reflected the long-standing fraternal ties between Iran and Pakistan.

Warm welcomes were exchanged throughout the meeting, and both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations founded on close people-to-people links, shared values, and mutual respect.

The Defense Minister emphasized that the Pakistani government and people have strong, long-standing, and fraternal ties to Iran and support the Iranian people in trying times.

Given their rich cultural heritage, old civilization, history, and tenacity, Pakistan believes that the Iranian people and leadership possess the wisdom to handle any problem facing Iran.

The Iranian ambassador thanked the Pakistani government and people. He recognized Pakistan’s long-standing and moral stance toward Iran and expressed gratitude for the country’s leadership and people’s unwavering support.
