It is very unfortunate that recent attacks against Iran have occurred: Asif Khawaja

The latest attacks on Iran are very terrible, and every Pakistani is terribly disturbed by them, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif remarked on Sunday.

Khawaja Asif said in a message on X that Pakistan had done everything it can to support Iran diplomatically and morally. At the United Nations, he said, Pakistan also denounced the strikes against Iran. He urged the Pakistani population and religious parties to exercise patience.

Khawaja Asif added that it would only help Pakistan’s enemies if the demonstrations descended into violence or if people took matters into their own hands. According to him, it is everyone’s duty to control their emotions.

The defence minister also said that demonstrations should be nonviolent and that disturbances of any type should be avoided.
