Karachi will reconstruct an additional 418 roadways as part of a new initiative.

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has resolved to rehabilitate 418 supplementary roads throughout the city.

The resolution was made during a meeting of the Engineering Department presided over by Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, who also assessed the advancement of current development projects.

The mayor announced that the government had granted funding and instructed officials to issue tenders and commence building promptly. He stated that the objective is to enhance amenities for residents and guarantee noticeable advancements in the city’s infrastructure.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab stated that, on the explicit directives of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, a specialized development package and financial resources are being allocated. He underscored the necessity of incorporating beautification into every project to ensure that roads are not only completed but also aesthetically pleasing.

During the meeting, district officials provided a comprehensive briefing on the proposed reconstruction of 418 roadways.
