Khamenei’s passing: Naqvi exhorts demonstrators to maintain their composure

Today is a day of grief for the Muslim Ummah, as well as for the people of Iran and Pakistan, according to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
“Every Pakistani shares the grief of the Iranian people,” Naqvi said in a statement, expressing profound sorrow over the martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Indeed, this is a day of grief. “We support Iran during this challenging period,” Naqvi stated.
The interior minister suggested that any protests should be conducted peacefully and within the parameters of the law, and he asked citizens not to take matters into their own hands.
The murder of Ayatollah Khamenei in U.S. and Israeli strikes has been verified by Iranian official media. Iranian authorities have declared a 40-day period of mourning and a seven-day national holiday.
