King Charles III is praised by PM Shehbaz as a representation of global consciousness and civic duty.

Speaking during a celebration of the British monarch’s birthday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised King Charles III as a representation of public service and global consciousness.

The prime minister, who was speaking at the ceremony, said that King Charles was instrumental in bringing the Commonwealth countries together and that it was an honor to be a part of the commemoration.

British High Commissioner Jane Marriott was commended by Shehbaz Sharif for her efforts in assisting in the restoration of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights to the United Kingdom. He underlined that terrorism continues to pose a serious threat to international peace, but he also reaffirmed that Pakistan’s military and citizens are unified in their opposition to it.

The prime minister emphasized that approximately two million British Pakistanis are making significant contributions to a number of UK sectors. He also praised British collaboration in finishing historic health, education, and skill-building projects.

Shehbaz Sharif invited King Charles III and Queen Camilla to come to Pakistan in honor of the event.

During her speech, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott conveyed the United Kingdom’s strong support for the people of Pakistan and offered her deepest sympathies for the recent terrorist attacks in that country. She went on to say that because of the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, there are currently 15 British lawmakers of Pakistani descent sitting in the UK.

Jane Marriott added that King Charles’s environmental projects would strengthen ties between the UK and Pakistan.
