KP announces the sale of license plates bearing the names of Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif, and Asif Zardari.

The auction of unique car license plates with the names of President Asif Ali Zardari, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, and Imran Khan has been formally announced by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration.
A private TV program claims that the regional government has made the decision to auction off elegant and distinctive number plates that are named after well-known national and political luminaries. The action is being viewed as a novel approach to collect money while providing car owners with something unique.
The auction will take place on January 27 at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar, according to Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Fakhr Jahan. The top bidder would receive the number plate bearing the name of their favorite national or political figure, he continued, adding that bidding for elegant and distinctive number plates will begin at Rs1 million.
According to him, the program would continue in stages with the addition of more names of prominent figures, communities, regions, and national leaders. He claims that car owners are expressing strong interest and that the national exchequer is anticipated to benefit greatly from the sale.
According to the Excise Department, citizens are applying to participate in the auction via the Dastak app.
