KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi criticizes the government after being refused a meeting with Imran Khan for the tenth occasion.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Thursday condemned the federal government and the Punjab administration after he was once again prohibited from meeting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, marking the tenth straight denial.
Afridi reached the prison following formal protocol; nevertheless, his convoy was halted at the checkpoint, where a substantial police presence had barricaded the road to the facility.
The chief minister challenged the authorities, inquiring why a constitutional office-holder was consistently being impeded.
Afridi addressed the police, asserting, “You are erecting barriers against your own citizens,” and sought clarification regarding the limits. You halted me the day before yesterday and once more today. What message are you attempting to convey?
Sanaullah cautions that Imran Khan may be relocated from Adiala Jail if the conduct of PTI does not improve.
He also condemned the police for what he termed the “inhumane treatment” of women, including Imran Khan’s sisters, during a protest two days prior.
Afridi reminded officials that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is an essential component of Pakistan and asserted that he is not “a Chief Minister of any foreign nation.”
He stated that obstructing a province chief executive conveyed a perilous message. “Are you implying that KP is no longer a part of Pakistan?”
The chief minister stated that he and PTI supporters have consistently engaged in peaceful visits. “We remain composed in this location.” We engage in no unlawful activities. “You are exacerbating the situation,” he cautioned.
