KP terror plan thwarted with the apprehension of a female suicide bomber in DI Khan.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has thwarted a potential terrorism scheme by apprehending a female suicide bomber during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan.
CTD officers reported that the suspect was arrested in the Sheikh Yousaf tent colony area of DI Khan. Authorities stated that the woman purportedly originates from Waziristan and was functioning as a close associate of militant commander Shah Wali, also known as Tariq Kochi, linked to the proscribed outfit identified by officials as Fitna al Khawarij.
Investigators reported that the apprehended woman admitted during preliminary interrogation that she had undergone training with Tariq Kochi. She additionally disclosed that the resources for the suicide attack, as well as the designated target, were to be supplied by another terrorist commander named Asim.
The CTD reported the recovery of a 30-bore pistol, ammo, mobile phones, a tablet, and equipment presumed to be intended for use in the planned attack from the suspect’s possession.
Officials stated that an initial forensic examination of the confiscated mobile phones revealed communication with the proscribed Tehreek and indications of her intent to execute a suicide strike. Officials announced that additional inquiries were in progress.
