LHC notifies about Imran Khan’s plea for case details
The parties to a lawsuit seeking information on cases filed against PTI founder Imran Khan have received notices from the Lahore High Court.
The petition listed the NAB, FIA, Anti-Corruption, and police as respondents, and it was heard by a two-member panel presided over by Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza.
Imran Khan claimed in his plea that the NAB had re-arrested him as he was about to be released, even though he had been granted bail in every instance.
The petitioner has asked for a list of all cases, inquiries, and detention orders that have been filed with the Lahore High Court.
In addition, before contacting the appropriate court, the plea requested a court order prohibiting any further arrests.
The court then sent notifications to the parties about the request for more information about the matter and postponed the case indefinitely.
