Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed her satisfaction and complimented the Punjab Sahulat Bazaar Authority for attaining international certification.

In her remark, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her approval of the progress and proclaimed the objective of launching sahulat bazaars in three further districts by January 2026.

Maryam Nawaz stated that the contribution of the Sahulat Bazaar Authority in providing accessible and high-quality vital goods for the public is indispensable. She observed that by offering goods at reduced costs, the authority had rendered an admirable public service.

The chief minister emphasized that access to affordable and high-quality goods is a fundamental entitlement of the citizens of Punjab. She stated that the province government is converting public institutions into authentic service-oriented centers.

Maryam Nawaz claimed that the availability of affordable roti and wheat in Punjab serves as irrefutable evidence of the government’s dedication to public welfare. She reiterated her determination to extend the network of Sahulat Bazaars to smaller cities around the province.

The Punjab Sahulat Bazaars Authority (PSBA) is a government program focused on protecting consumer welfare by guaranteeing the continuous supply of quality essential goods at officially designated prices throughout Punjab.

Residents receive direct economic relief through an increasing network of Sahulat Bazaars, aimed at mitigating inflationary pressures and fostering fair access within a transparent, controlled framework.
