Maryam Nawaz urges the PM to implement immediate changes for potato exports.

In a letter to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif urged prompt action to alleviate the challenges encountered by potato farmers and boost their earnings.
In her letter, Maryam Nawaz called for the lifting of export restrictions and stressed the importance of using the National Logistics Corporation to speed up potato shipments.
In order to facilitate shipments, she also called for procedural relaxations and a particular 25% freight cost reduction.
The letter suggested additional steps to boost export growth and emphasized the significance of reaching global markets, such as those in the US, Africa, and the EU.
According to Maryam Nawaz, these actions will increase foreign exchange profits, raise farmers’ financial strains, and rebuild trust in the agriculture industry.
