Mohsin Naqvi and the priests agree to shorten the procession.

Mohsin Naqvi, the federal interior minister, met with well-known preachers from all over Pakistan to plan for Muharram and other religious processions.
Because of the present situation, the clerics and the Interior Minister agreed that all processions across the country on the 21st of Ramadan, which is the day of honoring Ali (R.A.), will end with Maghrib prayers. It was also agreed that the length of other processions would be cut down in the same way.
Minister Mohsin Naqvi stressed that all possible steps would be taken to make sure that participants were safe and comfortable.
He said, “Today, Pakistan once again calls for unity and solidarity,” referring to the support that clerics have always given to Pakistan during hard times.
He also praised the religious leaders for working to bring people together and keep the peace in the country. The experts told the government that they would work with them fully and that they would fight any plans to divide people by working together.
Minister Naqvi thanked all the preachers for working with him and said he appreciated their dedication.
Before, 35 people were killed in a bomb attack in the Tarlai area of Islamabad that targeted a mosque.
Investigators gave out important information about the suicide bomber who killed many people.
According to government sources, the attacker is Yasir, who is 25 years old. It is said that he used four to six kilograms of explosives that were packed with ball bearings.
Sources say Yasir fired two shots before going into the mosque and six more shots inside before setting off his explosives vest. The scene of the crime had all the bullet casings found.
Police said Yasir hadn’t been seen or heard from at home in more than a year, but that he had been calling his family on and off during that time.
Investigators say the bomber looked around the mosque before the attack. He used public transportation to get from Nowshera to Islamabad while wearing the explosives jacket.
