More than half a million Afghans were discovered abroad using Pakistani passports.

The Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights has revealed that over 500,000 Afghan citizens have been discovered using Pakistani passports to travel outside.
Afghan nationals have been posing as Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia and other nations, according to the Interior Secretary. Crimes committed by these individuals were frequently mistakenly attributed to Pakistan, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
The Secretary further stated that the government has now digitally consolidated data for 180–200 million Pakistani individuals and that NADRA was used to gather data on over 500,000 Afghan nationals.
The disclosure highlights persistent worries about passport abuse and the necessity of more stringent identity verification procedures to stop foreign crimes from being mistakenly attributed to Pakistan.
