MQM-P cautions against extortion on the streets.

Dr. Farooq Sattar, a senior leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), has asserted that extortion has escalated in Karachi once more and threatened to take to the streets if it is not halted.

Farooq Sattar stated at a ceremony that the government ought to take decisive action against extortionists. He said that the extortionist’s identify should be made public, regardless of who they are associated with, and that their only remaining choice is to go out on the streets.

The top MQM leader added that one of Karachi’s biggest problems is the absence of sewer manhole covers. He stated that manhole covers would be put as well and that the prime minister has approved a fund of Rs. 40 billion for Karachi. Additionally, he underlined the necessity of establishing new administrative divisions, stating that the nation should do so.
