NAB challenges the appeals of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi regarding their imprisonment in the £190 million case.

Advancements have been noted in the £190 million corruption case at the Islamabad High Court.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) special prosecutor, Rafaq Masood, has submitted a miscellaneous appeal to deem the pleas for sentence suspension by PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi as inadmissible.

Sources indicated that the principal appeal against the sentence has yet to be set for a hearing, and no official notification has been sent. NAB contends that the suspension requests are not legally tenable in court.

The Islamabad High Court will now adjudicate the miscellaneous motion to ascertain its admissibility and whether it may be considered, representing the subsequent phase in the current legal proceedings of the case.
