NADRA gives women more power by opening its first registration center just for women.

environment for women where they can easily get all the services they need for registration.
The center was built to give women power by giving them a safe place to get important identity documents like CNICs, family registration certificates, and child registration forms without any trouble or hesitation.
The center is at the Mall of DG Khan on Multan Road in Garden Town.
Officials from the country’s mass registration authority said that these papers are more than just papers; they show that a woman is financially independent, has property rights, and has a political identity.
This project is meant to help NADRA make sure that every woman in South Punjab can legally identify herself with dignity.
The Women Registration Center is part of NADRA’s larger plan to make services more gender-sensitive all over Pakistan. This will make it easier for women to get national registration and social empowerment opportunities.
ARY News also reported that a special program made by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has found more than 250,000 fake Pakistani Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) given to people, most of whom are Afghan nationals.
The software was made to find fake or suspicious identity cards, and it showed that a lot of Afghans allegedly got fake CNICs by paying agents. Before they got official ID cards, they were said to have been added to the family trees of Pakistani citizens.
Authorities have started blocking the fake CNICs, and people whose cards have been blocked have been told to go to NADRA offices to get their cards checked.
NADRA officials said that people who were affected must send in family tree verification documents to prove who they are. After the verification process is done, real CNICs will be turned back on.
Online service makes the CNIC process easier.
The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has made it easier for people to get National Identity Cards (CNIC). This means that people don’t have to go to its offices as often.
According to reports, NADRA has set up a new, simple process to help people get a CNIC.
People can now apply for their CNIC from the comfort of their own homes using the Pak ID website or mobile app. After processing, the ID card will be sent directly to their door by a courier service.
Officials say that the new service is meant to save people time and spare them the trouble of waiting in long lines at centers.
Citizens can go to www.nadra.gov.pk or call NADRA’s helpline at 1777 to get more information or fill out an online application.
