Naqvi praises Pakistan Rangers Sindh for bringing harmony to Karachi.

Pakistan Rangers Sindh were praised by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday for bringing peace to Karachi, which allowed trade and industry to resume in the city.
Speaking at the Basic Recruit Training Course No. 33 Passing-Out Parade at the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Training Centre and School, Mohsin Naqvi expressed his admiration for the young soldiers’ dedication, professionalism, and discipline as they formally joined one of Pakistan’s most esteemed security forces.
He called the day “an important milestone” in the life of the young graduates and offered sincere congratulations to the cadets, their families, and their instructors for completing training successfully.
According to Naqvi, Pakistan Rangers Sindh has established a stellar reputation across the country for its professionalism and outstanding play. He said, “This force created history by restoring peace in Karachi,” citing Rangers Sindh’s pivotal role in containing crime, terrorism, and unrest in the city.
The interior minister stated that the Rangers and Sindh Police worked together to eradicate criminal dens in the Katcha (riverine) area, greatly enhancing law and order throughout the province. “Today Karachi stands transformed because of the persistent efforts of Pakistan Rangers Sindh,” he remarked, adding that the city had once again become a global hub for trade and culture and that commercial and industrial activity had resumed.
Naqvi emphasised Pakistan Rangers Sindh’s involvement in the May 2025 operations against Indian aggression, where the force collaborated with the Pakistan Army and played a “highly significant” role on international boundaries, in reference to regional security. He claimed that by being vigilant and well-prepared, the Rangers were able to successfully thwart hostile intentions and keep a close eye on enemy movements.
Naqvi praised the sacrifices made for the defence of Pakistan’s internal and external borders while paying respect to the martyrs of Pakistan Rangers Sindh. He said, “These courageous sons of the soil sacrificed their lives to restore peace throughout Sindh as well as to secure our borders.”
