On National Day, PM Shehbaz congratulates the people of Qatar

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties while extending sincere congratulations to the Qatari leadership and people on their National Day.

The prime minister emphasized the long-standing friendship and strong solidarity between Pakistan and Qatar while speaking at an event to celebrate the State of Qatar’s National Day.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s ideas resonate deeply with Pakistan, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz, who emphasized that “the nation rises with you and stands with you.” “The real strength of a nation lies in its people,” he continued, praising Qatar’s emphasis on human development.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted Qatar’s outstanding achievement under its Qatar National Vision 2030 development framework, stating that the nation has gone from successfully hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 to being a major player in peace mediation in conflict areas.

He praised the strategic, diverse links between Pakistan and Qatar, including trade, investment, energy security, and strong people-to-people ties, and described Qatar’s leadership as “awe-inspiring.”

The PM also honored the numerous Pakistani nationals employed in Qatar, recognizing their honorable contributions to the nation’s advancement.

He emphasized Qatar’s investments, especially in renewable energy and other areas, pointing out that these initiatives assist common economic interests in addition to helping Qatar.
