On October 13, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will elect a new chief minister.

Since Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur resigned, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Secretariat has determined the timeline for choosing a new leader.
The official announcement states that the election procedure would be finished in the next two days.
The Chief Minister nomination papers must be sent in by Sunday, October 12 at 3 PM. As soon as the documents are submitted, they will be examined, and by 5 PM that same day, the final list of applicants will be made public.
Due to the governor’s delay, Ali Amin Gandapur steps down and the PTI creates a backup plan.
The new Chief Minister will be chosen via a vote on Monday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. A show of hands will be used to conduct the election during a provincial assembly session that has been specially called.
Officially, the KP Assembly session has been called for October 13 at 10:00 AM. In an official statement, the Assembly Secretariat confirmed the revised agenda and stated that a session that had been scheduled for October 20 has now been moved up.
The announcement states that the election of the new Leader of the House will be the only topic of discussion during the session.
The results of this crucial poll, which will choose the province’s next chief minister, will now decide the political climate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
