On the 148th anniversary of Allama Iqbal’s birth, CM Maryam Nawaz pays tribute to him.

On the occasion of Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s 148th birthday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz offers a touching tribute to the “Poet of the East” and “Father of Pakistan” today.

“One of Allama Iqbal’s greatest gifts to the nation is the lesson of self-respect,” Maryam Nawaz wrote in her statement. His ideas and beliefs can help Pakistan develop into a welfare-focused nation.

In addition to being a poet, the CM pointed out that Iqbal was a reformer and a leader who inspired Muslims throughout the subcontinent to be free and conscious. “Allama Iqbal set the course for the country and led Quaid-e-Azam’s ill-fated expedition to its goal. “His poetry still conveys positive messages to young people,” she continued.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the best way to honor Iqbal is to adopt the philosophy of self-respect. “Pakistan can only become a welfare-focused and balanced state by putting Iqbal’s ideas into practice,” she said. The best way to honor him is to follow his philosophy and poetry.

Additionally, she noted that Allama Iqbal’s provocative poetry imparts lessons on democracy, justice, honesty, self-reliance, and high moral standards. Iqbal spread the message of Islam, which is timeless and applicable to all ages. We must comprehend how he envisions Pakistan,” she stated.

“We can establish a free, fair, and just social and economic system by following Allama Iqbal’s ideas,” the Chief Minister said in closing, emphasizing the significance of putting Iqbal’s ideas into practice. Pakistan will be able to achieve international significance in the areas of politics, economy, religion, and society if Iqbal’s thought is properly interpreted. As a country, we must reaffirm our dedication to using Iqbal’s vision as our beacon of hope today.
