On the anniversary of Benazir Bhutto’s martyrdom, Mohsin Naqvi honours her.

In his statement on the anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s martyrdom, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi praised her lifelong battle and referred to her as “the name of an era that will forever live on.”
Benazir Bhutto’s political and patriotic contributions to Pakistan will never be forgotten, according to Naqvi.
He characterised her as a representation of optimism, tenacity, and a steadfast dedication to democratic ideals.
The minister stated that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto “firmly believed in the power of the people” and that she gave her life in order to create a democratic, peaceful, and progressive Pakistan.
He claimed that all of the nation’s democratic forces were still guided by Benazir Bhutto’s vision. According to her, the real cornerstone of a country’s progress is its workforce, farmers, and underprivileged groups, he continued.
According to Naqvi, she envisioned a Pakistan where democracy was reinforced and each person’s dignity was respected.
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s legacy is being carried on today by President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said, adding that her philosophy “is alive today and will remain alive tomorrow.”
